Price Bailey expands with Beechams merger

Bishop's Stortford-based accountancy firm Price Bailey has expanded by joining forces with regional rival Beechams.

Partners Ravi Parmar and Stephen Ufland, along with the rest of the team from Beechams, will be transferring to Price Bailey's London office.

Price Bailey has offices in Bishop's Stortford, London, Cambridge, Ely, Norwich and Guernsey.

Price Bailey managing director Martin Clapson said: "I have been very impressed with Beechams since our first meeting. As fellow UK 200 members we knew we could rely on their professionalism and competence and their work in North America in particular will add to our global connections."

Stephen Ufland added: "After determining that it was in the best of interests of our clients, employees and partners that we join a larger firm, Price Bailey stood out from amongst our various options. The two firms have shared values and very similar philosophies.

"This move for Beechams marks a significant milestone in realising our aim of providing our clients with an ever-expanding range of professional services. Our being part of Price Bailey offers our clients a greater range and depth of services."

Price Bailey employs more than 200 staff and reported turnover of £20m in the year ended 31 March 2014.
