Dublin property on the market for €50m

By Matthew Ord, Digital Staff Writer

A prominent seven-storey Dublin office building, constructed in 1977, is on sale for €50m.

Cumberland House, which comprises a net internal floor area of 112,000 sq ft and has 213 parking spaces, is being offered for sale through real estate firm Savills.

The property has an existing grant of planning permission for the construction of a grade-A office building that will extend to a gross internal area of 315,000 sq ft.

Mark Reynolds, director of development & consultancy at Savills Ireland, said: "Cumberland House is a unique development opportunity that offers a purchaser the ability to provide a prime grade-A office building in a highly accessible and central location.

"The benefit of the existing planning permission ensures the certainty of deliverability in a timely fashion that will allow potential occupiers to consider Cumberland House immediately as a future destination."
