By Matthew Ord, Digital Staff Writer

A former whiskey distillery in Dublin which was used in Irish crime drama Love/Hate is being sold for €3.5m.

The Granary, a block of 14 apartments at Distillery Lofts, has been brought to the market by Savills on the instruction of Declan Taite, a receiver at Duff & Phelps.

The building was used a whiskey distillery in the 1800s and is located between Richmond Road and Distillery Road, overlooking Croke Park.

Many of the original features of the distillery such as the brick work and archways have been preserved and exposed.

In season one of Love/Hate, the penthouse of the property was used as the home of a fictional drug trafficker.

David Browne of Savills said there have already been enquires from both local and international investors.
