MKB merges with Horner SolicitorsBy Matthew Ord, Digital Staff Writer
Two Belfast-based firms, MKB Law Solicitors and Horner Solicitors, have merged.
Horner Solicitors was established in November 2009 by Stuart Horner, who will now work alongside Gordon McElroy, director and head of the commercial and corporate services team at MKB.
Horner is qualified as both a solicitor and chartered tax advisor and specialises in advising clients in relation to all aspects of corporate/commercial law, including private equity, group re-structuring, corporate security partnerships and LLPs.
Horner said MKB's ethos of being friendly, practical and professional in its approach to law, was an important factor behind the merger.
A statement from MKB said that, despite the merger signalling the end of Horner Solicitors, it is "the beginning of a new relationship which will no doubt add significant value to MKB Law’s provision of corporate and commercial services to businesses in Belfast".
