Art of Football scores place in young entrepreneurs final
Young entrepreneurs from Nottingham who have launched a business to design and sell football-inspired T-shirts are among the finalists competing to win funding.
Baldwins Accountants' second KickStart Young Entrepreneurs Awards will be held on 20 November with three businesses shortlisted to secure a £10,000 grant along with £10,000 worth of mentoring and accountancy advice.
The two runners-up will also receive £5,000 of advice from Baldwins following the judges' decision.
Luke (22) and Gabriel (19) Cuthbert launched Art of Football from their Gamston home last December to sell hand-crafted original T-shirts which capture defining moments in football.
The brothers have sold their designs to supporters in 27 countries, from Australia to America and Singapore to Germany.
Luke said: "We primarily design pieces of art which capture split-second moments to try and emulate the passion and euphoria of football history.
"The response to our designs which are sold via our online shop has been great and as well as T-shirts, we sell prints. We have plans to expand the product range to jumpers and phone cases and to provide clothes for women and children.
"We also want to expand the sports we cover to reach new markets, particularly with the 2015 Rugby World Cup being hosted by England."
The pair would use the prize money to buy a printing machine to bring production in-house.
The KickStart awards will be held at Villa Park in Birmingham on 20 November 2014.
