Asidua picked up by Civica UK
Belfast-headquartered software consultancy and services group Asidua has been acquired by Civica UK.
The acquisition will 'extend the capability' of outsourcing company Civica's Digital Solutions business.
Steve Brankin, chief executive of Asidua, which has offices in Belfast, Dublin and Birmingham, said the deal was a "very positive development" for its customers, partners and employees.
"As part of Civica, Asidua will benefit from the group's existing scale of operations. We have achieved good momentum and we look forward to building on our joint strengths and vision in order to deliver increasing value to customers," he added.
Simon Downing, chief executive of Civica, said: "The company brings market-leading expertise which broadens our support to customers at an important time in the market.
"In line with our strategy to help customers transform the way they work, the combined business is very well placed to respond to the needs of customers, in particular as they seek to deliver major service and financial improvements through digital transformation."
Asidua employs more than 130 staff across its three sites. It provides software and consultancy services to government and corporate clients in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Europe, US and the Far East.
Civica UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Civica Group. Tughans acted for the shareholders of Asidua.
