Buckles attracts lawyers from Nottingham rivals

Buckles Solicitors has hired a corporate and commercial property lawyer to advance its plans for growth in Nottingham.

The law firm revealed plans in September (2014) to open an office in the heart of the city's professional services quarter.

Specialist corporate lawyer Chris Faulkner has now arrived from rival Fraser Brown and brings with him expertise in the SME market.

Also joining Buckles in Nottingham is commercial property lawyer Holly Smith. She previously worked at Geldards and has experience in all aspects of commercial property work acting for developers, investors and end-users.

Her work has a particular emphasis on secured lending, including advising high street lenders and borrowers on land security.

"The fact we continue to attract top-class lawyers is testament to our growing profile and reputation," said James Coppinger, head of office in Nottingham.

"We are delighted to welcome Chris and Holly to our team. They have both had glowing careers to date and our corporate and commercial property clients here in the Nottingham area and beyond will now benefit from their expertise."
