Das Kino raises a glass to first guests
Nottingham's newest bar has opened its doors after months of work to transform one of the city's most iconic buildings.
Das Kino on Fletcher Gate is spread over 3,000 sq ft and is now furnished with bespoke industrial lighting, cinema seating, pop art and a reclaimed wooden floor sourced from a local church.
The venue has two large bars, four ping-pong tables and a 1950s photo booth.
General manager Adam Sumner said: "We're really pleased with the finished look and feel of the bar and we've been getting some great feedback from customers.
Oscar and Rosie's pop-up restaurant has also taken residence in the bar.
Olly Hunter, the man behind Oscar and Rosie's, added: "It's great to be taking residence in Das Kino and we're looking forward to even more people trying our food."
