Finance chief resigns at EG Solutions
Staffordshire-based EG Solutions has begun the search for a new chief financial officer to replace Paul Hoban who has handed in his resignation from the role and the board.
Hoban will remain with the AIM-listed back office software company for his notice period while a replacement is found.
Acting chief executive Elizabeth Gooch said: "We'd like to thank Paul for his hard work and support during the last seven years. He leaves the company with a strong financial reporting function. The board wishes Paul the best of luck with future endeavours."
It follows a turbulent year for EG and its board as chief executive John O'Connell and chief operating officer Rob Glenn parted company with the group after only a few months in the roles.
However, after falling revenue and widening losses in 2013, the group has recently reported a strong first half moving back into the black with a pre-tax profit of more than £600,000 on the back of almost doubling revenue of £4m.
