Howes Percival hires Shakespeares lawyers
Historic Midlands law firm Howes Percival has snapped up two new partners from rival firm Shakespeares.
Insolvency specialist Carl Miffin and Alan Millband, a regulatory expert, have joined the Leicester office of Howes Percival from Shakespeares' Nottingham branch.
The firm said the double appointment was part of its aim to develop its specialist areas.
Geraint Davies, partner and head of litigation at Howes Percival, said: "I am delighted to welcome Carl and Alan to the team. They are hugely respected in their fields of law and bring an enormous amount of expertise and experience to the firm.
"Working across the UK, our Litigation Team is experienced in handling high-value and complex disputes and our focus is on working with clients to achieve the best and most cost effective resolution for them."
Howes Percival can trace its roots back to 1790, when it was formed by Richard Howes in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
It has offices in Leicester, Northampton, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Norwich.
