Hudson to boost workforce after office move

The Birmingham branch of recruitment company Hudson is set to create 15 jobs in the city after moving to a new city centre base.

The business is relocating to a 4,000 sq ft office on Birmingham's Edmund Street and will boost its workforce to 50 staff from 35 as a result.

Anthony Pierce, who runs the Birmingham office, said: "The office move is a great end to what has been a very busy year, and our plans to grow the team and the business in 2015 will be a great start to the New Year.

"Over the past twelve months, we have seen an increase in demand for specialist services as pressure to recruit the best talent increases."

Peter Istead, managing director for Hudson UK and Ireland recruitment, added: "Hudson is committed to Birmingham and the Midlands; our investment to recruit more people and the office move is a statement of our intent to the local marketplace, and to local businesses using our services."
