New Brum office head for Brewin Dolphin
Brewin Dolphin has appointed a new office head to lead the firm in Birmingham.
Adam Wilkins (pictured) has taken over from Stephen Glazzard, who will be moving into a consultancy role at the wealth manager ahead of his retirement.
Wilkins joined Brewin Dolphin in 1995 and was a key figure in the set-up of the Birmingham office.
Today he manages a range of portfolios for charities, religious funds, private clients and family trust funds.
He has previously worked for Smith Keen Cutler and Greig Middleton Financial Services, and is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
"I am delighted to take on this position and I am confident that the team here can continue to build upon the excellent work achieved under the outstanding leadership of Stephen Glazzard," Wilkins said.
"I'm very much looking forward to taking up the challenge of my new role."
The Brewin Dolphin Birmingham office was officially established in 1995. It has grown over the years to more than 50 staff, of which 20 are fully qualified investment managers and financial planners.
Midlands regional director Richard Platt said: "Adam has already proved that he is up to the job that lies ahead.
"This promotion reflects his longstanding commitment and contribution to Brewin Dolphin. His vision will no doubt help drive forward the development of the Birmingham office."
