Pride Park businesses set for online boost

Businesses operating from Derby's Pride Park are set for a boost with the installation of superfast broadband.

Broadband provider WarwickNet is installing a number of cabinets across the site which will allow companies in the area to use the internet more efficiently.

Ben King, owner and managing director of WarwickNet, said the connection should go live "in the next few weeks".

King added: "By building two roadside cabinets and feeding them with fibre cables, our full range of superfast broadband will be available across the park – offering everything from 40 to 100Mbit/s and high-grade leased lines of up to 1Gbit/s."

In 2015, WarwickNet will also providing superfast connection at the Osmaston Park and Shaftsbury Street industrial estates in Derby.
