Rostance Edwards joins forces with Dean Statham
Cannock-headquartered accountancy firm Rostance Edwards has revealed ambitious growth plans as it moves north to join forces with a fellow Staffordshire practice.
Rostance Edward said the merger with the Newcastle-under-Lyme office of Dean Statham chartered accountants would strengthen the offering to businesses across the Midlands.
Director Barry Edwards said: "A crucial part of the merger was for us to retain the services of one of the existing Dean Statham partners, David Beardmore.
"David is recognised as one of the top business advisers in the area and lots of businesses have achieved significant growth in profitability as a result of his advice."
Rostance Edwards was originally formed in 1998 when Barry Edwards and David Rostance joined forces.
The newly combined firm now employs a team of 50 staff from offices in Cannock and Newcastle.
Director Lee Grattage will lead the new office in Newcastle and senior corporate manager Lorraine Beardmore will be promoted to associate director.
Dean Statham partner David Beardmore added: "Rostance Edwards has grown significantly in recent years and we believe the time is right to demonstrate our ambition and commitment to businesses across the region.
"This feels like a good merger; a meeting of minds and talent with a single aim: to provide structured business advice to help clients grow their business and increase profitability."
