Senior appointments made to handle law firm growth

An independent law firm which has seven offices across the Black Country and Worcestershire has made two senior appointments in a bid to manage its growth.

Emma Cromarty and Rachel Pardoe have joined QualitySolicitors Talbots as HR manager and practice director respectively. Pardoe joined the firm after seven years as practice manager at rival Worcestershire law firm Thursfields.

It comes after the firm closed corporate deals worth more than £50m this year, leading to a growth of 20 per cent.

"We’ve had a really encouraging last twelve months and now employ more than 180 staff across our network of offices in Codsall, Dudley, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Stourport and Wolverhampton," said director Martyn Morgan.

"This growth needs to be managed effectively and to ensure we have the right infrastructure in place to deliver a personal service and quality legal advice we decided to bolster the team with a new HR manager and a practice director."

QualitySolicitors Talbots will turn over £7.5m this year.
