Finance partner joins PwC in Newcastle
A corporate finance partner at PwC, who has worked on projects including the Thames Gateway, Battersea Power Station and HS2, is joining the firm's Newcastle office to lead the government and public sector practice.
Ray Mills has spent the last ten years leading the corporate finance infrastructure and government team in London.
He will now work with partner Greg Wilson in Newcastle, and will also lead the government and public sector team within the firm's deals business across the UK regions.
Bill MacLeod, PwC’s senior partner in Newcastle, said the appointment reflects the firm's strategy of building the right team of specialists so it can "continue to help our clients be successful".
"The diverse experience that Ray has gained from working on significant infrastructure and regeneration projects in London and the South East, as well as his time in the North East, will benefit our clients and shows our commitment to secure the best talent," added MacLeod.
"And it is testament to the strength of our practice, and region as a whole, that we are able to attract industry leaders to the North East."
