Hospitality Guaranteed set to expand
A hospitality company is expanding after tapping into the North East Business Centre's (BIC) Innovation Programme.
Hospitality Guaranteed provides online conference, events and accommodation bookings and has a team of 14 staff.
To cope with a 'dramatic' increase in customer enquiries, the company endeavoured to ensure its technology was up to date.
Victoria Brunton, who formed the company in 2006 with Amanda Jackson, approached BIC, which utilises £724,000 of European Regional Development Fund investment to encourage North East businesses to "explore their innovative potential".
Brunton said: "With more than 16 years' experience in the sector my business partner Amanda and I are only too aware of the importance of innovating to remain successful. Once I had found out about the programme I made contact and the whole process was fantastic.
"Currently we are working with an automotive company who is trialling our new system and the feedback we have received from our current clients has been encouraging, praising in particular the time the new system is saving."
The company worked with innovation project officer Lilla Preston, who added: "With the help from an innovation specialist, Hospitality Guaranteed was able to scope a detailed technical specification for an innovative software solution.
"The online system is already enabling the business to grow, providing a highly responsive and efficient system that meets their clients' needs."
