HTL set for growth after workforce boost

HTL, a Northumberland-based manufacturer and supplier, is continuing to grow after increasing its workforce by 38 per cent in 2014.

The company stocks one of the largest rental fleets of controlled bolting equipment in Europe, servicing both a UK and global customer base.

The family-owned company has already taken "significant steps" towards building a sustainable future, including relocating to its 65,300 sq ft headquarters in Cramlington earlier in the year.

The business is now set to increase the development of its range of products having appointed a new product line manager in Cramlington alongside the appointment of a business manager at its Aberdeen office.

The 38 per cent workforce increase is considered a "key component to propel the company's future success in the markets it serves".

Stephen Jones, managing director of HTL, said the company's "exciting journey of growth" is a direct result of its staff, its commitment and its customers' loyal support.
