Tees Valley Business Compass strengthens offering
The Tees Valley Business Compass, which supports the growth of SMEs in the region, has appointed three new members staff as it aims to strengthen its offering to businesses.
The company has appointed Stephen Carey, Gillian Baker and Graeme Foster.
Carey and Baker have taken up roles as growth hub SME advisers, which means they will directly engage with SMEs across Tees Valley and provide support.
Foster has filled the role of growth hub supply chain officer, and will be working with companies and stakeholders to understand and help develop key manufacturing supply chains in the Tees Valley.
Stephen Catchpole, managing director of TVU, said: "The experience and knowledge they are bringing to Tees Valley Business Compass is second to none. Their appointments will serve to strengthen the already high level of support we currently provide to businesses within the Tees Valley."
Tees Valley Business Compass is a partnership between Tees Valley Unlimited (TVU), the five Tees Valley local authorities and a number of other public and private sector partners. It is a support services for SMEs in the area and offers advice on how they can achieve their growth potential.
