Bank backs GS Social Care expansion
A Blackburn business which provides outreach services and social care is set to expand its operations after receiving £250,000 in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial.
GS Social Care Solutions provides support and care to a broad range of client groups. This includes helping adults and children suffering from learning difficulties and providing care to people with dementia and mental health needs.
The company has now purchased an old church building in Great Harwood for redevelopment and plans to hire more staff to cater for its growing client base. It currently has 11 full and part-time staff, with plans to increase this further by the end of 2014.
Dorothy Gould, managing director and registered manager of GS Social Care Solutions, said with the "knowledge and experience" within the business she was confident the expansion would be "very successful".
GS Social Care Solutions was founded in 2006 by Dorothy and Glyndwr Gould with their three daughters, Danielle, Faye and Ashleigh.
