Dipstix reaches funding target

Dipstix, an online platform allowing motorists to compare repair quotes and book online, has surpassed its £300,000 crowdfunding target.

The Liverpool-based business, which is backed by New Look founder Tom Singh and Just Eat chief executive David Buttress, has currently raised £300,710 from crowdfunding platform Seedrs.

Its aim was to raise £300,000 to support its plans to grow into a national brand.

David Cederholm, managing director of Dipstix, said: "We’re delighted with the success of our crowd-funding campaign and thankful to everyone who supported our vision.

"Dipstix is changing the face of vehicle maintenance for motorists across the country and this investment will enable us to expand nationally.

"It's going to be a very exciting journey for us and we’re thrilled to be moving up a gear."

Dipstix was launched last year by Cederholm, a former director at Just Eat.
