Law firm to grow team with funding deal

A personal injury firm in Cheshire is to take on new staff after securing support from Yorkshire Bank.

Knutsford-based Aegis Law has received a funding package from the bank's business and private banking centre in Manchester.

The firm said the latest round of cash would allow it to develop its existing services, increase headcount, and grow further.

Aidan Wilcox, managing director at Aegis Legal, said: "With the economy now on the road to recovery we are confident the business is well placed to enjoy a period of growth.

"Through a period of targeted investment we aim to expand our footprint, increase turnover, and create new jobs.

"As a new customer we welcome the support of Yorkshire Bank which has taken the time to understand the way we work and has helped us to start working towards realising our long term ambitions."

Sean Williams, head of Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Manchester, added: "Aegis Legal is another welcome addition to our existing portfolio – we are confident that our expertise will help Aidan and his team to continue to grow the business."
