Seneca Investment makes senior appointment
Seneca Investment Managers has appointed the former head of Asia pacific strategy and asset allocation at Aberdeen Asset Management as its global investment strategist.
Peter Elston joins the Liverpool-based company to take on a "significant role" and will engage closely with the media.
Elston's appointment will allow the existing team to "focus more on security and fund selection as well as day to day fund management responsibilities".
David Warnock, chairman of Seneca Investment Managers, said that Elston's skills and experience are "ideally suited" to helping the company increase both its brand presence and investment proposition.
Elston added: "I feel strongly that our goal of further improving investment performance as well as brand presence is both exciting and achievable. It’s a challenge that resonates with my previous work as an investment strategist, and I look forward to meeting it."
