Funding drives Baycare expansion plans

A South West care provider has moved to a larger premises in Paignton after securing a six-figure loan from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

Baycare Domiciliary Care was formed in 2010 and employs more than 50 qualified care staff.

After securing a funding package from RBS, the business acquired a larger base on Paignton's high street in a bid to raise its profile in South Devon.

Alan Baker, director of Baycare, said: "It has been an exciting time for us and is a real landmark for the company’s next phase of expansion.

"Being so visible in Paignton will serve us well and we are confident this will assist job creation and new business."

Nick Connors, healthcare relationship director at RBS, added: "The new premises are 100 per cent bank funded and will assist Baycare to expand across South Devon giving them a visible identify in Paignton.

"This expansion is testament to our commitment within the healthcare sector and delighted RBS were able to help them achieve their short-term goals."
