Surge in demand boosts Lovehoney workforce
Adult retailer Lovehoney is creating 45 full and part-time jobs to support demand for its products ahead of the release of the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey in February 2015.
The Bath-based business is hiring seven new recruits along with 38 seasonal staff in the busy run up to Christmas and Valentine's Day.
The company is also preparing for the film release of the best-selling erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey. Lovehoney has the worldwide rights to all pleasure products and pharmacy associated with the production.
The group has already more than doubled its workforce in the past two years, with numbers growing from 61 to 144.
"We have a fantastic talent pool to draw on in Bath and the surrounding cities like Bristol and we work very hard to keep hold of our talented staff while bringing in new recruits," said co-owner Richard Longhurst.
"There is no doubt that as the economy picks up recruitment has become a bigger challenge not only to Lovehoney but all firms looking for digital talent."
Roles are currently available in graphic design, photography, customer service, public relations, quality assurance and ecommerce.
