Bella Couture snaps up Cwmbran Shopping site

An independent clothing retailer has launched a new store at retail centre Cwmbran Shopping, creating two jobs.

Bella Couture, which caters for women aged 30 and over, secured to site at North Walk to stock one off pieces made in Italy.

The business is owned by Cardiff-born Waquas Mohammed, who previously owned a store in Swansea and a number of pop-up shops across South Wales and South West England.

He said: "We chose Cwmbran primarily due to the location. With its free car park and thriving centre, it’s a retail hotspot which enjoys great footfall.

"We've been thrilled with the response to our store. The vast majority of customers have given us brilliant feedback, with many citing our shop as very different and lovely. Many shoppers have welcomed us as a new independent clothes retailer, commenting on how unique our items are."

Paul Rich, centre manager of Cwmbran Shopping, added: "We are thrilled that Bella Couture has joined our close family of independent shops. So far it has had a very welcoming response from our shoppers, and we have been pleased with the feedback we have received. Our shoppers really value a trusted independent label."
