Edwards Coaches partners with the Exiles

Edwards Coaches has partnered with London Welsh to transport fans to every Sunday home game.

Coaches leave Edwards' depot in Llantwit Fardre for Oxford, picking up additional fans in Newport and Cardiff Gate Services.

The Oxford-based Rugby Union side, which are coached by Llantwit Fardre-born Justin Burnell, was established by London's Welsh community in 1885.

"There was massive interest in the local community here when London Welsh went up to the Aviva Premiership, but not just in London Welsh but in Justin for what he’s achieved over the past 12 months," said Edwards Coaches managing director Jason Edwards.

Dan Langford, South Wales-based businessman and board member of London Welsh, added: "This new partnership with Jason and his team at Edwards Coaches is perfect to activate the long-standing support for London Welsh here in South Wales.

"We have witnessed an increasing number of supporters travelling to our home games already and look forward to welcoming more and more Welsh-based supporters to the club as the season progresses."
