Security company secures Finance Wales loan

Cardiff-based security company Aegis has secured a £35,000 loan from Finance Wales to support its expansion.

The business was launched by security professionals Leighton Thomas and David Delbridge in January 2015 and provides closed circuit TV (CCTV) security services to companies in South and West Wales.

It has won contracts with clients in the construction industry including R&M Williams, Waterstone Homes and Wilmott Dixon.

The Finance Wales loan came from the Welsh Government-backed Wales Micro-business Loan Fund.

Leighton Thomas said: "We're using the loan to support our cash flow and buy some new equipment."

Kilsby & Williams advised Aegis.
