Dealmaking firm continues with recruitment drive
Dow Schofield Watts, the professional advisory and equity finance firm, has appointed a dealmaker who was previously at Deloitte in Leeds and latterly in the Cayman Islands where he held a senior position in the Big Four firm's financial advisory services team.
Phil King will be based in the firm's Yorkshire and North East office, advising businesses across the region on acquisitions, business sales, finance raising and buyouts.
He is the latest new recruit at DSW Group which has grown staff numbers from 28 to 40 across its corporate finance, due diligence, forensic accounting and business recovery disciplines.
Other recent appointments to the Yorkshire and North East team include partners Kate Beckett and Rob McCarthy who lead DSW's forensic and due diligence businesses, respectively, in the region.
Roger Esler, who leads DSW's corporate finance team in Yorkshire and the North East said: "This is an exciting time for Phil to be joining the firm.
"We are making great strides in our partner-led delivery of corporate finance, due diligence and forensic accounting advice in the region as our team here grows. Phil represents another high quality appointment who brings with him some very distinctive experience and we continue to welcome other talented individuals who are interested in being part of our business."
